P90X Mass Effect- It Works

So a lot of the dudes out there want to GAIN MASS when it comes to P90X and that’s cool. And guys, despite what you may have heard elsewhere, you can, can, CAN do it. (As for the ladies, don’t worry about gaining mass with P90X, as I mention here, you’ll do anything BUT).  As for the fellas…I cover all the details to gaining Mass with P90X here.

Still, “the proof is in the pudding” so here’s a pic I took this weekend. Unfortunately, it was in a dimly lit room and yes, it’s another of my “not a huge fan” mirror pics, but I definitely was a little more conscious of my facial expression this time around, so that’s got to count for something, right? I’ve gained about 4 lbs. of muscle and you can really see where it’s paid off in my chest and shoulders (click here for a side by side with my previous “ugly face” pic):

As a note, if you’ve been following the blog here at HDIGF, you know I’m not a huge fan of taking my shirt off and posing for the camera– which is crazy because P90X has given me the power to do it without embarrassment. Buuuuut I’m still a pretty modest guy, I guess… which is part of the reason you don’t see a ton of my before and after pics. Still, I wanted to show my progress for a little Team inspiration– this is from consistency in diet and workouts. It’s not going to come from anywhere else.

In the mean time, since I’ve been going after the mass gains for the last couple months, I’m ready to begin “cutting” again. We’ll see how that goes but you can be sure I’ll keep you posted.

P90X is great for gaining mass. By adjusting the diet and lower my reps I was able to gain 8 quality lbs!

Definitely. With a few tweaks like slowing the sets down and heavying up the weight, building muscle in addition to funtionality and improving your kinetic movement chain. This program is so versatile, it’s ridiculous.

No need to be modest looking that ripped Dan. if you got it flaunt it, and with p90X and your dedication you definitely got it.
