How Do I Get Fit - P90X, Insanity and Beachbody fitness Coaching. You can change your body. This is the place to start.

“I Want This SO BAAAAD!”

Not that I’m grumpy… I’m just beginning to get a kick out of this cliched line: “I want this SO BAD”. It’s the line EVERYONE uses when they’re asked why they want to become famous or “deserve to be voted” America’s next Superstar, Idol, Talent, Model, Has-Been, Paparazzi-Bait [Fill in the blank]. It’s also the same thing people say when they’re sobbing in disbelief when they don’t get what they wanted.

As if “wanting it SO BAD” was a qualification. It’s not.

What this line “IS” is a seed– and if planted and nourished correctly through dedication and self-improvement, “wanting it so bad” can be genesis of that huge metaphorical oak tree anyone who wants to achieve anything can grow and enjoy all their wish-fulfillment while sitting in it.

So in the context of “Wanting To Lose Weight, Be Healthy and Feel Good About Myself”– wanting something “so bad” isn’t going to go cut it unless that “wanting” leads to consistency and DOING. The sad fact is, “wanting” something doesn’t entitle you to that something. Taking the steps and making the daily decisions that will get you there does… but only through time and persistence… which isn’t always easy.

That’s what How Do I Get Fit is here for. That’s what I’m here for. To keep you motivated and plugged into “wanting it so bad” you take action and have all the support you need to keep that momentum going. Fitness programs like P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Asylum and Turbofire are all designed around the same concept: You want to lose those pounds? Here’s the ACTION plan from A to Z. Follow your program as designed and you won’t fail.

Wanting to follow your program isn’t enough. Doing, plugging in and making your body transformation happen is.

Personal Reality Check

After gaining four pant sizes and feeling my stomach rub my belt all day, I wanted to lose weight “sooooo bad”. I think at one point I even used something called “cutting cream” that would magically burn belly fat.  It wasn’t until a few years later when I actually began working at losing fat and shaping my body– eating right, consistent workouts and planning– that what I wanted “so bad” actually happened. I didn’t transform my body through wishful thinking and willing my body fat to melt away based on my level of internal desire. I transformed my body through doing. You can too!

Do you want your goals “so bad”? If you do, get started, restart or keep on going. I’m here all along the way. And when you come to the end and you’ve made your fitness goals a reality, the line “I want this SOOOO BAD!” won’t be some cliche. With motivated action and discipline, it’ll be the reason you succeeded.

Cutting cream, vibrating belts etc. all are gimmicks designed to lure those who, as you said, want it so bad. So bad you believe anything even though inside you know better. Like you said, when you want it bad enough, you start doing the work.
