Tropical Strawberry Shakeology: The Details

If you’re familiar with Shakeology beyond the marketing, you know it’s the real deal. With the new Tropical Strawberry Shakeology now available (and as a  pink nutritional Valentine’s Day love letter, even) to one and everyone who like convenience and real, no-shortcut nutrition, I thought it’d be appropriate to lay out the hyper-details of what makes this iteration of the game-changing supplement something to really consider. The release of Tropical Shakeology has been hotly anticipated around my place since Tropical Shakeology was announced almost a year ago– especially with my Lady-Friend who’s made a pretty good shift over to a Plant-Based (Vegan) diet. I covered a few of the basic points here but this is the real deal- a full-on rundown. (You can also read my personal review here)

Tropical Strawberry Shakeology Is Beachbody Ultimate

First, don’t let that “plant-based” /Vegan thing throw you. Phyto (plant) based nutrients are pretty powerful and more easily absorbed by the body, which means all the elements of Tropical Strawberry Shakeology are pretty fantastic. So fantastic in fact, Tropical Strawberry Shakeology is the flagship release of the new “Beachbody Ultimate” brand– an elite, platinum level label that goes above and beyond the currently high quality supplement requirements Beachbody currently employs. In short, Beachbody Ultimate is a label commitment to “the “Ultimate” in health and well-being” and appears to be focused on whole, plant-based supplement solutions. Here’s how that new brand plays out in Tropical Strawberry.

Tropical Strawberry: Nutrition Served Up Whole and “Raw”… Without The Excessive Grit

Tropical isn’t just a name to make things feel fresh and vibrant– Tropical serves as the perfect description to what’s included in this flavor. Tropical Strawberry uses banana, pineapple, papaya and coconut… and that’s just for starters. As with previous Shakeology flavors, the ingredient list is packed with good stuff and even more, there’s nothing added. All nutrients are inherent in the ingredients. This isn’t a hodgepodge of lab ingredients. No Vitamins and minerals infused– Tropical Strawberry Shakeology is a raw product (the nutrition remains unaltered from pulling it out of the ground and eating it– never heated over 115 degrees). The vitamins and minerals you’re getting are from the food being used in Tropical Strawberry Shakeology. Period. This means your body better understands the nutritional codes and achieves digestability and use. On the plus side, unlike many raw powders, Beachbody has taken pains to ensure Tropical Shakeology isn’t quite as gritty. You can read my review here.

Tropical Strawberry: New Protein, New Ingredients

Both current versions of Chocolate and Greenberry Shakeology use whey protein– a quick-absorbing, solid protein with a complete amino acid profile. And while it’s the best for whey protein available (isolate), not everyone is a whey fan and those transitioning away from animal-based products may avoid it. Tropical Strawberry has eliminated the whey and uses a plant-based protein blend instead, choosing protein forms that include a complete amino acid profile: raw sprouted bio-fermented brown rice, sacha inchi (“Inca Peanut”), chia, flax, quinoa, amaranth and spirulina for 15g of protein per serving.  And where phyto-proteins have been show to be more bioavailable (more easily used by the body), don’t let the “only” 15g throw you off.

Tropical Strawberry Shakeology: Available Through How Do I Get Fit

I’m obviously a coach but after two years of using Shakeology, I’m a big believer and appreciate what it has to offer which is why I recommend Shakeology. The new Tropical Strawberry flavor is one I’m excited about. You can order Tropical Strawberry here at HowDoIGet Fit by clicking the link below. We’ve already ordered ours and should receive it in the next week or so, where I’ll update this post and add a taste paragraph. From early feedback, I’ve heard nothing but good, so I’m looking forward to it.
